Start Date on Loans Ignored

I have two assets with associated loans setup (two different start dates for them, but the start dates for the loan and the associated asset are the same). When displaying a Net Worth plot and even in an Account Balances report, the loans always show up (no matter what date). Which is to say that it seems the entered start dates for the loans are ignored. Which, for one, gives me a negative Net Worth for the times before the start date of the associated Asset, as well as a jump in my net worth (as the loan was always calculated in, but the asset wasn't until the start date). Please let me know if you need more info as it would help everyone with a loan setup to have this working properly.
