OS = Windows XP
Java Version: 1.6.0_23
Moneydance 2011r2 (803)
Importing from Quicken 2010; “all accounts.Qif”
• All CvrShrt or ShtSell in Quicken import with Xfr in “Action” rather than Cover & Sort and price info is lost.
• There are too many years of transactions to go through and manually correct.
• This is an unregistered trial copy and would like to buy it if this can be corrected.
Thanks
Chuck

    Your question as to why are you getting info about asthma inhaler.

    Somebody named "overyour" appears to have hijacked this discussion. I've noticed this has happened with a few of the other discussion posts where some unknown entity posted non-Moneydance issues (giberish).

    These are public forums. Unfortunately anybody can post to any of these discussions. I believe that is why Moneydance Support put in place the captcha stuff. But anybody can sign up on this forum board.

    I am signed up to receive all posts made on these forums, with the exception of private posts.

    Unfortunately, as I understand it, Quicken's QIF file format does a lowsey job when it comes to exporting investment data. As it is, Quicken's QIF file format does a lowsey job exporting large data files period.

    Thanks james f

    I have imported the same .QIF file into two other trial programs. They all have some issues, but not this one.

    Sorry for the spam. We have spam filters on but sometimes the spammers figure ways past them.

    Edit the transactions from transfer to sell. And James is right qif's are problematic when migrating investment accounts from one program to another.
