printing problem
My original issue was not solved and I can't seem to open the closed discussion.
my computer freezes when I try to print a report. I use MacOS Sierra version 10.12.6 and my printer is an HP officejet 4652.
Very frustrating. anyone else have the same problem?

Patricia,
This is a known problem and an issue created by Apple with Mac OS X 10.12.4 through 10.12.6. I doubt that Apple will ever release a fix. However, all is not lost. There is a way to painfully downgrade to 10.12.3 but better would be an upgrade to 10.13.0 or Mac OS High Sierra. This has been reported to fix this problem.
Technically the system does not freeze, but takes a VERY long time to print. Reports are that with the newest version of MD (which is faster) it will take about 30 to 45 minutes to print!!
So far the only reported solution is really to upgrade to High Sierra.
I don't know why the other discussion was closed, the response was notably unhelpful.

I can confirm that upgrading OSX to Mac OS High Sierra solves the problem. I did so (took about 45 minutes), and now reports print quickly and accurately. Thanks!!
