    Hi

    What version of Linux are your running?

    What version fo java are your running?

    The error message is related to your pulse audio configuration on Linux. Moneydacne plays a "chu ching" sound when a transaction is recorded. Please try disabeling this sound and see if that resolves the problem. To do this:

    Select File->Preferences

    Under the General tab uncheck the option "beeb when transactions change"

    Thanks for the update.

    I run ubuntu 9.04 as my primary work machine and I have not experienced the the problem you described. I am quite excited about the release of 9.10 in a couple of days. I played with the beta for a while and many things seem to be improved. It might be worth upgrading to see if that resolves the sound driver issue.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer
