registration key code does not work

i purchased moneydance a long time ago...maybe 2 years or so....i lost the program from my computer. re-installed it and put in my key code and it told me it was the wrong code.

    Hi

    I see from our records that you just purchased an upgrade key for the latest version of Moneydance.

    I expect this mean that you understood that your existing key was for Moneydance 2008.
