Refund
I am inquiring on receiving a refund for Moneydance. I was very excited to use the software after reading the reviews. After purchasing and trying it out I realized that i would be charged with a monthly fee to have direct access from Bank of America. Honestly the direct uploading of the statements is tedious and not very user friendly especially when the free software I am currently using through Mint.com connects fine with BOA. Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks so much.

Read the following article. This might change your opinion about Mint.com and Intuit as a whole.

Furthermore, research "Account Aggregation". Moneydance does not make use of "Account Aggregation". Moneydance is not a service, it is just a peice of software.
Intuit, makers of Quicken and owners of Mint.com makes heavy use of "Account Aggregation". They keep all of your usernames / passwords on their computer systems. Highly unsafe, in my view. The makers of Moneydance provide software only. They do not store your personal information anywhere on their systems.

Hello
I am a Moneydance purchaser. I am not satisfied with this program. I moved from Quicken after four years to Moneydance because of a change in computing i.e. PC to Mac. Although it is fine for somethings I find it frustrating that data is saved on the desktop instead of a preferred file, that I am unable to set up a budget, that I am unable to place the Moneydance icon onto my dock & frankly the austere layout / charts just do not attract. I did look through forums & followed steps concerning the file saving to no avail. The not being able to dock the icon is a mystery & as for the budget I could probably figure it out but, it didn't seem worth the time involvement. Just not very excited after the trial period + two months. As I have begun to search for different budgeting software I see that money back guarantees are offered from other financial software providers. Does Moneydance offer this?
