security price on portfolio view
I have multiple securities for which i track prices and current value. Only one of them consistently uses the most recent number of shares purchased as the current security price, instead of the current price downloaded from the web.

Hi Steve,
Try running the Quotes & Exchange Rates updater in 'Test' mode to make sure that you are indeed downloading the current price quote for the troublesome security.
To do so, open the Q&ER updater.
Look to the upper right-hand corner of the updater, click 'Advanced'.
Click the 'Test' button in the lower left-hand corner.

Kevin -- I followed your instructions -- what i found was that the history for the security in question - VOHXX - has a red X and the current price is incorrect -- what should I try next?

Hi Steve,
Am I correct in that VOHXX is a money market fund? Money market funds' objective is to maintain a $1.00 NAV, it is therefore unnecessary to update the price quote.
As for the results of the Q&ER updater. The updater gleans it's data from Google Finance and Yahoo Finance. Price history for money market funds is more than likely not tracked by either entity, due to their constant $1.00 NAV. Hence, the red X.
As for the current price, money market funds have proven to be problematic for the updater in that the current yield is captured rather than the NAV. To resolve this issue, manuallly correct the current price, and just un-check VOHXX in the updater so that it no longer downloads the current yield.

I have several stocks that are in multiple investment accounts. How can I update a stock once and have it updated in the other investment accounts?

Hi Frank,
Are you using the Quotes & Exchange Rates updater extension to update your stock quotes?
