After transferring my data from Quicken Essentials, all the accounts were shown as "Banks."
Is it possible to change the account type?

    Hi Pete,

It's not possible to change the account type, however you can create a new account and use the batch change function to quickly move all your transactions to this new account. To do this, first create a new account of the type you want and with the information that pertains to it (in Tools -> Accounts). Once you have the correct account created, go to the account that is the incorrect type and enter the register. Select all the transactions (this can be done by selecting any transaction and then pressing ctrl + a), right click and go to "Batch Change" and then Account, then select the newly created correct account. This will move all the transactions from the original incorrect account to the new account. Once this is complete, it's safe to delete the incorrect imported account (also in Tools -> Accounts).

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
