When printing checks the payee's address is excluded. I originally downloaded a free trial of Moneydance. When printing checks the payee address was excluded. I thought that maybe that was because of the trial basis. I purchased a full version for Mac OS yesterday and the addresses are still excluded

    Hi Sandy

To print the payee address on checks be sure that the address is entered in the address book for the payee in question and that you select that payee in the description field for the transaction. Also there is an option in the check printing preferences that must be checked. Select File->Preferences and then click on the check printing tab. Then check the option that says "Show Address". See the attached screenshot.

    Sincerely

I have this problem as well. I started with ver2008r4. The first few times all my payee addresses printed as expected. Now, I can't seem to get any to print. The Preferences are properly set and the addresses are in the address book. I upgraded today to 2010r2 (735) and the problem still persists. I have tried numerous printers without any luck. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.2.

    Thank you.

When you enter the transaction are you certain that you are selecting a payee rather than just a description. When you select the payee for a transaction it begins with a little green @ symbol. Press the up down arrow on the description field on a transaction to see the list of payees.

Thank you. I found the green @ with the up/down arrows. Not really intuitive
especially when the payee is quickly auto filled after the first character
is selected. By the way, when this green @ is selected the associated fields
from the prior transaction for this payee are not auto filled. This would be
quite helpful to have this feature with the green @.
