<p>Moneydance will remember previous descriptions and auto fill the
splits accordingly. Many users have asked for this feature and find
it useful. You are correct in that the major downside in doing this
is that the user has to calculate the last entry of the split them
selves.</p>
<p>Currently there is no way for the use to disable the behaviour.
You could close the split window and press command-K (or ctrl-K on
windows) to delete the split and start a new one.</p>
