Moved from quicken .....generally moneydance kinda decent ....... but there are things that are pissing me off beyond belief!!!!!!!!!. I am entering entries that have been entered .... If i DO NOT use a capital the entry is not remembered ... how ridiculous!!.
Addresses: why can't my entries be remembered .... if I keep using a payee that has an address - why the heck can't the system remember that?????????????????
Even with addresses printing - the "mail to" - payee do not print in address area - only the street add, city, state. I have been writing in the Name before the address.
"recurringing" entries - why can't they be remembered??????????? with the categories ????? Categories - why can't I just type in the category - if there is a sub category - I have to stop, get the mouse, look it up and click - toooo much work.
Getting ready to go back to quicken ....... hate this petty stuff

    I'll take your things backwards:

Categories: Begin typing the name of category, first three letters ought to be eneough. Then input a colon " : " . Then begin typing name of sub category, first three letters ought to be enough.

Recurring entires with Category: You can set up recurring entries with associated category using New Transaction Reminder.

Addresses: You can set up Addresses through Address Book.

As to Capital letter vs. lowercase letters: Look at your Preferences

The name of the payee is printed in the Pay To: section of the check.
