Change Base Account Name
I changed the base account name at some point, but the old name still shows up in some dialog boxes. How can that be changed? Where it says "TestImport" on the attached image, it should have the new base account name.

Hi Travis,
Thank you for contacting us.
Please follow the instructions below:
Before proceeding, please back up your Moneydance data set, just in case something goes wrong. You can create a backup using the File --> Export Backup menu option.
To use the .py file, first save it to your computer and then follow these steps:
In Moneydance, select Window --> Python Scripting.
In the window that opens, select 'Open Script' then navigate to the .py file wherever you saved it on your system.
Select 'Run' to execute the file.
Wait a few moments until you see a message on screen, confirming the script has run successfully.

Script threw an error.

Thank you for following the steps.
Would it be possible for you to share your version and build number, to do this, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance (or Moneydance --> About Moneydance on a Mac) where the version and build number will be displayed?

Well? Any idea how this problem can be solved?

You're not really interested in solving this problem are you?

My apologies the lack on response is completely my fault as I forgot to pass your case on to my colleagues during my sick leave.
Please install the latest preview from here:
https://infinitekind.com/preview
and run the script again, I believe that it has failed due to a recent change we made in the python scripting availability in the versions that we added.

I have installed preview version 2017.7 (1666) and re-ran the script. I received the exact same error.

Would it be possible to get your logs?
I'll send the logs to the lead developer to see what the source of the issue is.
Here's how to get the logs:
1) In Moneydance, click on the Help menu and select the Console Window option. This will open the console messages window.
2) While the Console Window is open, run the script. Any error messages should be recorded to the Console.
3) Select all of the text in the Console and use the "Copy to Clipboard" button at the bottom to copy the text.
4) Paste the text from the message window into a text file (preferably saved with a .txt extension) and attach that file to your response here.

I ran the script with the Console window opened and have included the log output in the attached text file. It appears to have simply repleted the error message.

Thank you for the console log, I've sent it to the lead developer and will update you as soon as I get a response.

Any update on fixing this issue?

That can't be the entire log. But try turning off syncing? Syncing also uses a .moneydance name which may confuse the script?
