Backing up data from outside of Moneydance
I've had a problem installing a new version of Ubuntu. To prepare for the reinstall, I'm backing up all my data files from all Ubuntu apps to my Windows partition. If I'm looking at a file with the .md extension, is there any way to determine that it IS in fact a Moneydance data file? Where should I be able to find this file, if I didn't change any defaults when installing Moneydance in the first place? (Again, this is Ubuntu.)
Thanks!

Hi John
The file with the md extension is almost certainly you Moneydance data file however you can verify this by running Moneydance an looking at the title bar of the main window for the program. The text in the title bar contains the full path to the currently open Moneydance data file.
Sincerely
