Hi and Help,
On Friday the 13th something in my computer went wonky, after much cussing and fussing it was decided that I had to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall the OS and run all the software updates. After that little treat I have my computer back and I am re-downloading the programs I had. When I go and download the latest version of MD for MAC 10 X 5.8 it downloads just fine and I move it from my downloads folder to my applications folder and all is still just swell, then I try to open the program, the icon bounces in the doc, then closes and I get the Moneydance has quit unexpectedly message. I have thrown out the file I downloaded and downloaded the program again and still the same thing. I love Moneydance and I am just lost without it. What do I need to do?
Thanks

    Hi Beverly

I am sorry oyu are having trouble installing Moneydance on your machine.

Can you confirm that you unziped the download before you moved it to your applications folder?

Also could you run the system console application. It is in the /Applications/Utilities folder before you run Moneydance. This should display any error messages.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer

    Hi Ben,
I do apologize for the long delay, it seems that right after I tried to load the program and sent the SOS for help my computer rolled over, put its hard drive up in the air and died. Now with a new hard drive, mother board and OS things are working fine.

    Thanks for your help

    Beverly
