Using OSX 10.8 on a new Macbook Air. MD opened just fine and had my latest file displayed. I store the file and backups in Dropbox. When I tried to quit, I got the error message (see attached). I could not quit until I used Force Quit. I'm not having this problem on my iMac, using the same software and system. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hello,

What's likely happening is that you don't have the necessary folder permissions to save your Moneydance file to that location, which is often an issue with newer Macs. Try moving or saving your .md data file in your home or documents folder, which you will usually have writing privileges to by default.

I did what you said (saved to the documents folder). Things seemed to work after that, even when I reverted back to the file in Drop box. Thanks, Ethan.
