Another Chase download issue
I've seen other discussions of people with my problem.
Downloading Chase credit card transactions used to work, then it
suddenly doesn't. I get this error:
(Begin Paste) There was an error communicating with your financial
institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: Chase
The error code reported by the server was: 2000
We were unable to process your request. Please try again
later.

From what I understand, this problem is on the Moneydance side, and the only solution so far was to re-setup everything in a new account and bring the data over from the old account. Is there really no better solution yet?

Hi Chrs,
Not having any problem with Chase Visa here.
What you might want to try is to open MD to your Chase account, then from the menu bar click on 'Online' > 'Set Up Online Banking'.
In the resulting form, click the 'Refresh' button.

Thank you Kevin N. I did as you suggested. Didn't work.
Here is one clue. If I try using MD and get enough errors, Chase locks me out of my account and makes me reset my password. I should note that I did "Activate Quicken" under https://chaseonline.chase.com/secure/CustomerCenter.aspx

Hi Chris,
If you've gone ahead and changed your password then you should again open MD to your Chase account > Menu bar > Online > Set Up Online Banking.
In the resulting form, click on 'Change'. This will bring you to the original setup screen from when you first set up your account for online banking.
Even though Chase is already listed in the drop-down list, I would click on the 'New Connection' button to make sure that I'm getting the latest connection information possible. Then just follow the prompts... you know the drill. :)

Ok. Working now.
1) I reset my chase password again.
2) I disabled online banking on ALL my enabled accounts. (Hoping this would eliminate some preference file.)
3) I set up online banking again on them one by one. No they all work.
Thanks.

Hi Chris,
Excellent! Glad to hear that your connected again.
I've never had that problem with Chase Visa... yet.
The only problem that I have with Chase vis-a-vis Moneydance is on Sunday mornings when Chase does their server maintenance. Can't really count that as a problem though.
