While yahoo provide quote information for this symbol they do
not provide price history information for download. if you enter
the following url into your browser for the symbol GOOG

http://ichart.finance.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=goog&d=3&e=16&a...

The yahoo service will return a csv file containg price history
for the symbol. However when this is tried with the symbol you are
having trouble with e.g.

http://ichart.finance.yahoo.com/table.csv?s=KOTAKGO_a.NS&d=3&am...

The yahoo service returns a not found error.

I am sorry to say that at this time there is nothing we can do
about this. We are looking into using a more complete sources of
security price information and I do not have a time fram for when
this might be implemented.

I am sorry if this does not meet your needs.

Sincerely

Thanks for your Reply. Eventhough the problem is not solved , I
understood what is the problem. It seems that only some of the
funds are having historical data in the yahoo finance.

Thanks
