Personal
Personal:Computer
Personal:Dining
Personal:Hygene

When I look at my expense reports, I can see the total for Dining.
However, I can see the same transactions listed as Personal.

I cannot see the expenses in the Computer category in the Personal bucket.

I see the same results on moneydance 2008 and the 2010 beta.

Is this a bug, or intended behavior that I don't understand?

Thanks.

P.S.

To clarify, I've done a batch category on all tranactions to "EurestDining" and put them all in the Personal:Dining category.
Now when I look at the reports, I see the one "Personal" bucket that sums up all the child categories.
Now when I drill down into "Personal" I see all the children categories and their totals, but there's also a "Personal" category in there that has duplicate transactions of some but not all of the child categories items. Some of my "EurestDining" records appear in both buckets.

tcpsyn
