Command Line Disappears

I am running MoneyDance version 2017 (1584) on a MacBook Pro with High Sierra (10.13.4).

Periodically when I load MoneyDance, the command line is missing. If I close MoneyDance and reopen it, the command line is back. The program will then run correctly for a while (days or weeks), then the same thing happens again. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, the problem occurs at random intervals. Is there any way to fix it permanently?

    Yeah, update MD to the latest release, this was an early problem with High Sierra.
