When sync to iPhone, one of my three credit card accounts does not appear. I've tried changing the account name, stopping and restarting Dropbox sync, killing and restarting the app.

In the desktop version of Moneydance do you have recent transactions in the credit card account.

The sync mechanism doesn't not sync all transactions. Only recent ones. By default I believe this is set to the last 60 days. You can configure this option Under Extensions->Configure Network Syncing.

It's the account I use everyday. Full of recent transactions.

    Hi whshep,

Do the rest of your accounts show up in the iOS app? If you enter a new transaction on another account, does it show up in Moneydance?

Yes and yes. It's just the one account.

    Hi whshep,

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the iOS app? If that doesn't fix the issue, the second thing I would suggest trying is, after syncing any transactions on your iOS device to Moneydance (making sure that Moneydance has received the sync), is to try deleting your .moneydancesync folder on Dropbox. To do this, use the Dropbox iOS app or their web management panel (since the folder is hidden it probably won't show up in your operating system's file manager) and delete the .moneydancesync folder in your Dropbox folder.

    Neither actions had any effect.

I know something is changing in the .moneydancesync folder, because every time I enter new information into the affected account, I get a Growl notification that the mdata-v1 file has been modified on Dropbox. Looks like a binary file, so I can't tell if there's anything wrong with it.

Ok, one last try. The other time I saw this issue, it was because the "Hide on Home Page (If Balance is Zero)" box was checked. Can you please open Moneydance on your desktop, open the account, then go to Account->Edit Account interface and see if that box is checked? If so, please uncheck it and let me know if that properly displays the account on the iPhone. I hope this helps, and if it doesn't let me know and we'll keep working on it,

That did it. I had to delete the Dropbox files, turn off sync on iPhone, and re-enable, but it worked in the end.

In retrospect, this was obvious: if you didn't want to see the account on your home page, you wouldn't want it on your iPhone. But I didn't even think to check that preference.

    Many thanks!
