upgrade won't download, Vista
Hi. I'm essentially a very happy user of Moneydance 2010. I wanted to use it with my Android HTC Incredible 2, so I purchased Handybank, but found the instructions about how to get it going mysterious. I thought perhaps they would be less mysterious if I had the most current version, and discovered through your website that I am entitled to an upgrade to 2011 version free of charge. However, when I clicked on the link for either "Windows download" or "Windows with Java Download" it simply does not proceed. Tried a few times, having no luck with it.
Would like some help. Thanks!

Hello,
http://www.moneydance.com/download/2011/installers/MoneydanceInstal... is working fine on our end, and I just tried downloading it myself without a problem. Are you getting any particular error message when you try to download the program?

No, it just "hangs," or refuses to progress. Any known Vista issues?

Do you have any firewall or proxy software that might be blocking the download? Also, you might want to try restarting your computer to see if that clears things up.

Hi, I have one more question. I got the upgrade downloaded, and handybank
synced, which was my reason for uograding. But now handybank appears to be
malfunctioning. One of my accounts displays a continually declining balance
on the accounts page, even though no new transactions are made. When I
click on the account itself, the numbers are correct. But on the accounts
page the false balance persists, and has even adjusted itself further.
Thoughts?

HandyBank is a 3rd party extension which is to say it was not written or maintained by the Moneydance dev team. I encourage you to contact the HandyBank developer.
