Is this a known issue and is there a solution.

Thank you.

Can you confirm that you have the 'All' filter applied in the register?

The ALL filter is selected. The auto-commit from the past few weeks just do not get booked. Do you think that the upgrade could have created a new data file and the auto-commit is going to an old file? I only see one file on Dropbox.

It's not possible for Moneydance to write to any other file other than the one that is open.

I've not heard of this particular quirk in upgrading before.

Something you could try is to recreate one or two of your auto-commit reminders and see if the new ones perform as expected.

Trying an auto-commit reminder for a minimal amount daily for several days. If it works I will redo my existing ones.

IK Strongly recommends against keeping your data files in drop box due to possible corruption of the file. This could explain the issue. Try keeping the data file on your hard drive instead of a cloud folder.

If you need to synchronize between computers, try using the built in facility.
(not IK support)

sthtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/458598472018-08-10T01:26:19Z2018-08-10T01:26:20ZMost recent upgrade

I appreciate the advice.

Where can I read as to how the “built-in facility” works? Will that allow for synching between Phone App and desktop?

Thank you

http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data

This creates a hidden file on drop box where synchronizing transactions are stored. But it is really really suggested that you do not keep your main data file also on drop box. It used to move files off of dropbox automatically but folks complained so it is now done at your own risk.

sthtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/458598472018-08-10T01:46:23Z2018-08-10T01:46:23ZMost recent upgrade

Thank you.
