Moneydance won't load
I have had this problem intermitently over the past few months wehere Maoney dance wil not load.
When i click the shortcut or the exe file direct moneydance attempts to load for a few secs but nothing comes up.
No error messages.
I am running windows 7.
Please advise

sorry just to clarify i have been using Moneydance for 3 years and now it will not run. It is loaded on my computer.

Hi Sean,
A common issue that arises with Win 7, Moneydance users is that if the computer is shut down while Moneydance is Minimized, Moneydance will open Minimized the next time that program is started.
If when you attempt to open Moneydance, you can see the Moneydance icon in your Taskbar, hover your cursor over the icon until a pop-up appears, right click on the pop-up and choose Maximize.

Hi Kevin
Many thanks for your response but it does not appear in my taskbar.
I actually have it pinned to my taskbar shortcuts but it glows for about 3 secs than fades to usual.
Unable to maximise.
Please advise further as I'm concerned it will not let me use it.

Hi Sean,
You could try re-installing the program and see if that resolves the issue.
If you don't have the original installation program:

You can download the 2008 Build (643) version here:
http://www.moneydance.com/download_2008
As I'm sure you're aware that Moneydance runs on Java, you may want to make sure that you're running the latest version of Java. (currently 1.0.7_07)
You can do so from the Control Panel Java.app.
