date oder and balance now not correct
The date order of my credit card transactions ar not now in the correct date order. An orange band has appeared to the left of the entries.
What is going on please and how can I stop I?

Hi stuart_stearn,
You have two options to set the Date order.
1) Simply click in the header row of the Date column. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order.
2) Right-click (CTRL-click for Mac) any transaction in the register. From the resulting context menu, select Sort By > Date.
As you can see the second option offers many more sort orders.
The orange band at the left of a transaction is an indication that the transaction is dated in the future from today's date.

Have you tried clicking the Date header to resort the dates?
