Equity prices not updating in reports container such stock

Moneydance has had a problem with not updating mutual fund prices until about a day later but, now I've noticed that even when the program has the previous day's proper close (and it even show that price on the summary view), a net worth statement that contains that stock, will show an older price (not the current/previous day's closing price listed in the summary view).
Can you take a look at this issue as it's hard to have any trust in the number that MoneyDance is reporting now.

I've added a couple of screen shots to show the problem. For this purpose, we'll just focus on on mutual fund (TRP Blue Chip mutual fund).

See on the MoneyDance "Summary" view where it shows the 9.18.18 close price at $112.88 (which is correct).

When I click on a Net Worth report that I've created, that contains that mutual fund it shows a price that I believe was the prior day's close on 9.17.18 of ($111.56).
    Strange.

    Hi MWA_LAS,

You haven't mentioned what version and build number of Moneydance it is that you are currently using.

If you're using MD 2017, per the preview build change log
    http://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/changelog.txt
build 1693 - fixed bug in which imported changes to historical currency rates or security prices were not saved across restarts

The current preview build is MD 2017.10 (1701)

If you're currently using MD 2017 and did NOT purchase Moneydance thru the Apple store, then try updating to the preview build to see if it resolves the issue.

You can d/l the preview build here:

Thanks for your feedback Kevin but, even the MD 2017.10 (1701) build did not correct anything I'm seeing. I had a slightly older build than the 1701.
Strangely MD will show the correct mutual fund price (from previous day's prices) but, does not reflect that price on Net Worth reports that I've setup.

Also, regarding the latest build, you'd think when I click on "check for updates", it would provide the latest build wouldn't you... but no mention of this build 1701 when I click that drop-down menu.

Still no feedback from the people at MoneyDance!!!! =:^(

Update... I went into my report (Net Worth) and unchecked the mutual fund(s) that didn't have the correct prior day's close, ran the report, and then when back and added them again and the correct price showed up. Strange...

I'll have to see it that solved it after today's closing prices or if it was just a one time event.

    Hi MWA_LAS,

    Thank you for the update.

A common practice that I use when setting up the parameters for a report is to click the 'Reset' button in the lower left-hand corner of the parameters window.

I've seen it resolve some weird behavior in the past.

There are two definitions of Networth. Believe it or not! :-)

The networth that is the displayed version on the Summary page uses the "current value" of the security prices. The report version is a report as of a certain day (it should be at the top of the report) and uses the most recent price of that day or previous if that date does not exist.

You can get securities out of sync where either the current price is not the most recent price or some weird future price is entered.
