Moneydance v 2017.8 (1691)
License Key: B22902988-E48A722D
Apple Macintosh High Sierra OSX v10.13.6
Canon Laser LBP251 printer

I can print one check correctly. But, if I attempt to print more than one check at a time the printer will output just the first check, and it will be printed up side down. How can I correct this error?

Sure would like some help with this printing problem. The online tutorials and help do not provide a solution. Mark Weidman

    Hi Mark,

    Thank you for contacting us.
This sounds like one of the settings in the print dialog may be incorrect. This is a window provided by the Mac OS X printing system, so we don't have control over that option in Moneydance. However, I believe that the relevant option is called "Binding" in the print window and has the possible options of "Long edge binding" and "Short edge binding". If you select "Short edge binding" you should get the correct results.

    Hi Henry

Thanks for the response & suggestion, I appreciate it.

I found the Short-Edge binding option you mentioned, in the Two-Sided menu option.  But, when I select Short-Edge binding in the print window, it automatically also selects √ Two-Sided printing.  Here is a screen shot.  So, if I send a print message for two checks it will print them both on the same sheet, front & back.

If I deselect √ Two-Sided in the same window, then the Short-Edge Binding is automatically switched to “Off”.  Here is a screen shot:

Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated as sending one individual print check command at a time is cumbersome.

I apologize, I mistakingly believed that you are using double sided printing.
The Two-Sided option should be off, one page per sheet should be set.

If this doesn't work correctly, then would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of preferences within Moneydance, the 'Check printing tab'

    Hi Henry

I am not using two-sided printing when printing multiple (or any) Moneydance checks.  If the Two-Sided option is OFF, then I cannot also select the Short-Edge Binding option (the software will not allow me to).  Here is a screen shot of preferences/check printing:

Printers are great when they work, but when they don't it can be extremely frustrating. Printers can run reliably for many years and thousands of prints, but they can also malfunction or stop working entirely. Like take an example of Epson error code 0x97, which is a common error in Epson printer, For resolve, this kind of issue visit the website https://www.printererrorrepair.com/blog/easy-apply-methods-fixing-epson-error-code-0x97/
