No that is not the issue as the Investment account is set up in $US and the download is $US and the data is imported in $US. Additionally there would be problems with all of the commissions not just the ones that are of the form $0.00000000 (or similar) rather than $0.00.

Worth noting that I originally thought that the data in the .QFX file must be at fault, so I downloaded a .csv file thinking I could manipulate the data and then import a .csv file into the investment account. This is when I noticed the pattern of the erros in MD being associated with trades where the commissions that had more than 2 decimal places and thus a rounding error.

I have just opened the .QFX file in "notepad" and found that the .QFX file definitely has the commissions with more than 2 decimal places and in these instances MD does not round up at all - it just ignores the number past the second decimal place.

See new screen shot attached in which a commission of 1.037633 is imported into MD as 1.03 instead of 1.04 resulting in the price per share being calculated as 27.959872 instead of 27.96 which is the information in the .QFX file.

So definitely a bug with respect to the information that MD uses as data and what it then calculates from that data.

Can someone from MD please respond, or is there a way that I can import a .csv file into an Investment account?

Thanks

jasontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/464309752018-11-09T09:35:51Z2018-11-09T09:35:51ZProblem with MD rounding Commissions and changing totals from .QFX and .OFX

Hello,
