After several months of working ok on 30/11/18 I noticed my balance on my Galaxy S9 did not agree with PC.
Later in the day The app would not load at all and I got the message Moneydance has stopped.
On 1/12/18 the app on my Galaxy tab S3 also stopped working with the same result.
On 2/12/18 the app on my wife's Galaxy tab pro 12.2 also stopped working with the same result.
What is going on ?? Are you replacing the app ?
I tried the usual of uninstalling and installing the app and this resulted in going to the Dropbox to select the file.

It then asked for my passphrase which I copied from the PC
It then would not accept my passphrase saying syNc failed.
I shut the app down and have ended up as described above.
Please issue a new app which works and is reliable as it is useful.
I will not try your suggestions of stopping dropbox etc as I do not want to risk my PC moneydance going the same way as the Android app
