Mac OS X 10.6.2, MD looks like a linux/X11 app - no menu bar items!
Using MD 2010, after doing an "advanced search" and a "jump to selected transaction" everything looks like an X11 application? No more rounded corners or menu bar items! This is also the case now when I launch MD 2008!
Here is a screen shot of what I'm talking about.
Is there some global switch between Mac look and feel and the x11 type of thing?

Since I upgraded to 2010 mine is doing the same.
Also I cannot cut & paste using standard mac shortcuts. To paste I have to go to Moneydance menu bar and select "Paste".

Me too with the cut and past issues. Prior to "going square", when it still looked like the proper windows, I was unable to use keyboard cut and past shortcuts.

I had this problem also, just go under Preferences then find the Look and Feel option and select Mac OS X. That worked for me.

Yes, this works for me! Looked pretty ugly beforehand.

That did it! For anyone else, it is the menu item: "MoneyDance"->"Preferences"->"General"->"Look and Feel"
The cut-and-paste menu items work, but the keyboard shortcuts still do not.

Once you change to "Mac OS X" then close & reopen application, this will make the keyboard shortcuts work again.
Thanks everyone!

Nope, doesn't work for me. I open MD2010, switch to "Metal" and close MD, then open MD2010 and switch to "mac OS X" and close MD2010, then open MD2010 and then select the menu item "Account"->"Edit account..." and I can cut and paste via the keyboardin the "Account Name:" field, but cannot cut-and-paste via the keyboard in the "Comments:" field.

I think you might have found one field that you cannot past into with keyboard commands. Every where else I have checked works.
I already had my accounts set up and the keyboard paste options would not work when entering transaction info until I changed to "mac OS X" look & feel & restart application.
All seems normal to me & I have used Moneydance for at least 3 years.
Does anyone know if in 2008MD if you could paste into the "edit account" "comment" field?

I am not able to cut and past via the keyboard to ANY comments field - for instance in my chequing account.
This is not consistent. If I log into the my "guest" account (newly created) and launch a fresh instance of MD2010, I am able to use keyboard cut+paste. But if I open an "infected" file, I cannot, even for newly created files. But then sometimes I can. I started a whole discussion about it, which currently has no other replies.

HMMM...
2 days and a bunch of entries and I have not had cut & paste issues, not to say there is not a problem lurking around.
I will stand by for the manufacture to address.
