This new edition does not accept my License Number and prompts me to buy this update. - Is this intended?
I did not see any notification that this is a paying upgrade.

Fredtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/467935512019-01-12T22:16:36Z2019-01-12T22:16:36ZUpdating to 2019.0 from 2017.10 not free?

Hello,

Moneydance 2019 is a free upgrade to anyone who purchased a license key for Moneydance 2017 or later. This is true if you purchased an upgrade or a full license for either of those versions. Note that just because you are using Moneydance 2017 does not mean you purchased a license for that version; for example, you may have purchased a license for 2015 and upgraded o 2017 for free.

If you purchased Moneydance 2017 then you can upgrade at no cost by using your existing Moneydance license key with Moneydance 2019. If you purchased a previous version of Moneydance you are entitled to a discounted upgrade price of $24.99. If you want to run Moneydance 2019 you will need to purchase an upgrade key. To determine whether you are entitled to a free upgrade or to confirm your license for a discounted upgrade, submit your license key using the following form:

http://infinitekind.com/purchase

If you don't know your license key you can see it by running Moneydance and selecting Help->About Moneydance (or Moneydance->About Moneydance on a Mac), or by using the 'Lost Key' tool on the purchase page.

If you would prefer to continue using a previous version of Moneydance for which your current license key is still valid at no additional cost, you can download it by choosing the appropriate link below:

Where can I find a description of all improvements made in this new release. (Shouldn't need to pay for bug fixes.)

Fredtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/467935512019-01-12T22:24:27Z2019-01-12T22:24:27ZUpdating to 2019.0 from 2017.10 not free?

Hello,

We're working on a blog post to describe the new major changes. We do have a changelog available right now at http://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/changelog.txt, but this may be too detailed or technical for what you are looking for.

I visit the changelog often.
I like the slimming down of the file size, for me from 73 MB down to 45 MB, for data going back to 1996 - well done.
Keep up the good work!

Fred
