entering transactions in different currencies
My base currency is set to GBP. One credit card account I have is set to CHF.
If I look at the current EUR:GBP (Tools->Currencies, then select "Euro" ... this dialog also shows Base Currency as GBP) value, I see 0.89307692, last updated 05/02/2019 (huh? my laptop and I think it's 31/Jan/2019 ...) ... there is also a 28/01/2019 update showing 0.89302326.
When I go to my credit card account and enter "100 EUR", it converts it to 89.31 ... i.e. it is ignoring the fact that the account where I am entering the transaction is in CHF, and is assuming it's GBP.
I am using MoneyDance 2019.1(1855) on MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 but this isn't a new problem, it also happened in 2017.xx

I'm a fellow user.
I do not think Moneydance can handle that.
The rates Moneydance downloads are relative to your base currency, so all rates are relative to GBP. But you are looking to go from Euro to CHF, which the software does not have a rate for and I do not believe it has the ability to do a cross rate calculation to come up with an approximation.
