Thank you for contacting us.
Which version and build number of Moneydance are you currently using?
To do this, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance (or Moneydance --> About Moneydance on a Mac) where the version and build number will be displayed.

Can you try re-creating your connection with your financial institution and see if that fixes the issue that you're seeing? You will need to disable your current connection to your bank and then recreate it using the New Connection button on the Online Banking Setup screen. To do so, you can follow these steps:

Select your bank account in Moneydance

Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu

Click the "Disable" button. If you don't see a disable button, just close the setup window.

Repeat the previous steps for any additional accounts at the same institution.

Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu (again)

Click the "New Connection" button and select your bank and hit OK

Continue with the setup process, entering your username/password

Make sure you pick new connection, even though your bank is still one of the connection choices after you disable it. Choosing your bank from the list of available banks will force Moneydance to download the updated information, which should then allow you to connect.

I am using 2019.1 (1855)

I have tried recreating my connection to First Tennessee. But I still get the same error. This has happened to me one time before. The fix was your connection guys had to update First Tennessee's information.

On the morning I started having a problem I got an email from First Tennessee stating they were updating their Terms of Service. I am guessing they changed something.

Thanks,

I'm stuck in a loop with Moneydance. The new connection is not complete but I can't get rid of it either. But now with MD2019, I can't find how to run similar.
And the online user guide is from 2015.
While I'm sure FirstTN did something, MD is breaking down too.

amaxwaretag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/469409752019-02-25T17:25:01Z2019-02-25T17:25:01ZMoneydance stopped downloading transactions from First Tennessee

Has there been any updates to getting this connection problem with First Tennessee corrected?

rickt.445tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/469409752019-02-25T18:37:42Z2019-02-25T18:37:43ZMoneydance stopped downloading transactions from First Tennessee

Yesterday I was finally able to remove the old connection and set it up again. I had to completely remove First Tennessee from online banking (set up on line banking, then click disable and refresh). You need to do this for each of the accounts before setting it back up otherwise you get the same error. If you had it set up for online bill pay you need to remove that as well. Then go in and set it up as a new connection.
The first time I did it, and then went in to download transactions it did download all interest payments and transfers between accounts even though they were already in my register. I deleted them (61 transactions) and it did it again. The second time I deleted them and tried again and it only downloaded one spurious transaction. It did this with 2 of the 3 accounts we have with First TN.

My advice on this is before you download, make a note of both your current balance and your last reconciled balance so that you can make sure you've got the correct transactions.

Roxanne Coffeytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/469409752019-02-25T22:41:27Z2019-02-25T22:41:27ZMoneydance stopped downloading transactions from First Tennessee

Hi Roxanne,

So glad to hear you were able to get reconnected. I'm not sure how to remove my connections since I'm not connected. I have 2 First Tennessee entries on my list of financial institutions. I've read that there is a script to remove institutions but it is for the 2017 version of Moneydance. Not sure it would work on the 2019 version.

Thanks,

Thanks for the encouragement!! I was not able to remove my connections using MD 2019. But I decided to reinstall MD 2017 and run the script again. SUCCESS !!!

Upon downloading First Tennessee transactions it did not pick up any transactions already downloaded.

I'm back in business
