New MD 2010 dropped comparative view of existing transaction and proposed downloaded match and you can't manually match
Just downloaded MD 2010 to compare with my current MD. Love most of it. Two problems found when downloading transactions: old MD showed in separate area below account transactions area and suggested a match. New MD transactions appear in account transactions area with blue dots but (problem 1) you can't tell whether it's trying to match or show a new transaction. One transaction was clearly a duplicate of one of my manual entries, but it didn't offer to match, so I saw my entry and then two lines down the new entry with blue dot. Same date. Couldn't manually match the two transactions into one (problem 2). Can you give a better indication of whether MD thinks a downloaded transaction is a match or is new? If a match, show what it thinks it's matching: and if new, give me the ability to manually match?

Jeff, I don't know if Moneydance will respond to this very quickly, but I can tell you that there are two or 3 other long threads about this (just start looking on this forum). A lot of people are concerned about it. One has "downloading qif files" in the title, another has "reconciling transactions" in the title. If you want to know more, look for them.
There are also 2 enhancement request in Trac that I know of that deal with this, I encourage you to vote for them so they can get elevated in priority. You will find their numbers in those threads.

The thread Randy linked to is where the main discussion of this issue is occurring.
