There is a newer stable release of Moneydance 2019.2 (1868) that may resolve your issue as MD definitely imports OFX files.

The only problem is that you purchased the product through Amazon. 3rd party sales of the MD product, such as Amazon, Apple App store, have their own licensing policies.

https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/purchasing-and-upgrading/lice...

You may have to wait until the Amazon Site receives the latest stable release upgrade, I'm not sure.

IF you had purchased directly from TIK, you would have received an email with your License Key. For MD 2019 that key is sent by TIK via Fast Spring.

When you lose the key that you purchased from TIK, you can look it up by entering the email address that you used to register MD in the "Lost Key?" field:

https://infinitekind.com/purchase

IF you had purchased Moneydance directly from the Infinite Kind, you also could have upgraded here:

Although I am not positive, I believe that you have to will have to try to retrieve you license key information and/or wait until Amazon has the most recent version available. If you wanted to try entering your email address into the Lost Key section, it would do no harm and it would probably indicate how you should proceed (I.e. if no info is available from TIK, then it would be an Amazon issue).

Regards,

They "trial" (unlicensed) version of Moneydance is fully functional and should have no effect on your imports. There may be something else going on with the way that you tried to perform your import. Here is a list of articles describing how to import files via Direct Connect (to OFX servers), or Manually connect (which support a number of types of financial data files, including OFX).

Then I went to my email archive file to see if there was an email from Amazon with my registration number on it and there was. I entered the number on the registration panel and after all that it still rejected. I then took 15 minutes and found out how to input CSV files into Moneydance and that worked fine. So I got where I wanted to go (for now). Thanks again

Tim O'Connortag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471909422019-04-19T19:49:54Z2019-04-19T19:49:54ZImporting OFX to moneydance

You're welcome. Glad to hear that you got things going.

Take care,
