Batch Change not working, although account receiving transactions exists in Sidebar

Hi,

I'm trying to batch change transactions from one credit card account to a newly created credit card account. The list of accounts displayed to receive the transactions isn't listed in the dropdown as an available account, despite being clearly listed in the Sidebar.

Selecting a single transaction or multiple transactions has no affect.

Please advise.

Thanks!

    Hi Ervin,

Check to make sure that the 'Inactive' checkbox is NOT ticked for the receiving account.

    Hi,

The account is not marked inactive. This is an active account with transactions.

    Thanks.

    Hi Ervin,

In your OP you stated that this is "...a newly created credit card account".

In your reply you stated that "This is an active account with transactions."

So I can't tell whether or not you are checking to make sure that it is the 'receiving' account that might be marked as 'Inactive'.

Marking an account as 'Inactive' removes the account from most drop-down lists; which is what you described in your OP.

    Hi,

No, the receiving account isn’t marked inactive. In either scenario that is not the case.

The problem is the receiving account can’t receive batch transfers while other accounts can.

The account is listed in the sidebar, just not in the drop down menu as it should.

    Hi Ervin,

    Yours is an odd issue.

Which version and build number of Moneydance are you using?
You can locate this info by going to the Help > About Moneydance menu item; e.g. MD 2019.3 (1870)
