I have the exact same issue, no idea what the cause is. If anyone has a fix it would be greatly appreicated.

Hi all,
Could each of you let me know what version of Moneydance you're running? This information is available in the Help->Console Window menu item.

Ned,
That's the version of Java which is installed. The version of Moneydance will be something like Moneydance 2011r2 (803). Do let me know, as there's a possible fix I'd love to have you test. Thanks for your help,

Same problem here, using v803. In another post it appears someone has solved the issue using v825. However, he states that the location of his data storage has changed. Can we specify where the data will be stored in v825?

So I believe the issue might also be fixed in Moneydance 2011, build 808, which you can download Moneydance 2011 here. This update doesn't change the location of data storage. To anyone who updates- if you do so, please do post here and let us know if it helps with the issue so we can keep working on a fix (if necessary) or recommend the solution to others.
If you'd like to know more about how Moneydance 2012 v 825 changes the location of data and why, check out this blog post by our lead developer Sean.
Thanks for you help in diagnosing (and hopefully fixing) this issue,
Angie

Ended up going with v825. As long as I can point my backup copy to a location I want, I'm good to go. Working fine at this time.

Awesome, good to hear. For everyone else on this thread, please try updating to Moneydance 2011 r2+ (Build 808), which is available here. If this doesn't resolve your issue please do let us know,

Hi Angie,
I'm not sure which jar file to download and replace. I've tried both to no avail. I have windows 7 64 bit box. Please advise.
Thanks,
Ned

Hi All,
It looks like TD Bank recently updated their security certificate, and the new one is causing trouble with Moneydance 2011 (including build 808). I've notified our lead developer about the problem, and we'll get a fix out as soon as possible. Alternatively, the problem is fixed in the latest version of Moneydance 2012, which you can download from our website at: http://infinitekind.com/downloads. If you are using Dropbox or another online storage system to share your data file though, I would suggest sticking with 2011 for now, as Dropbox sharing is currently disabled in MD 2012.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We'll let you know when a fix is released.

I'm very sorry for the delay on this. Unfortunately, it looks like we won't be able to update older versions of Moneydance to fix this bug. In order to connect to TD Bank, you'll need to install Moneydance 2012. We're working on an update to 2012 that will resolve the Dropbox sharing issues in the current version, so folks using Dropbox or another cloud file storage system to share their file should hold off until the until the update is available (which should be very soon).
Ned, I've split your comment about being unable to install the 2012 update off into a new discussion, so that we can try to resolve that issue for you.
I'm very sorry for the delay on this. We'll let you know once the update to 2012 is released.

If you wish to use the 2012 release of Moneydance, and wish to continue to use Dropbox or some other file sharing system, just follow the guide at:
