Moneydance only downloads one of my three Chase accounts

I'm about to throw in the Moneydance towel.

1- It only downloads one of my Chase accounts.
2- The one account it downloads has a balance very different from the one that shows on my bank's website despite the fact that I have cleared all the downloaded transactions.

Why on earth don't they have some sort of live or personal support?

    Hi Toni,

You need to run the Set Up Online Banking routine for each Chase account. During which you need to select the appropriate account number from the drop-down list offered during the routine.

Also, look to my other post here regarding the special requirements to connect to Chase.

To resolve the balance issue, enter or edit the 'Initial Balance' field (or the 'Initial Debt' field depending on the account type) so that the balance reconciles with the 'Ledger Balance'. (click on the 'Balance' shown in the lower right-hand corner of the register to display the 'Ledger Balance'). The 'Ledger Balance' will be available after you've successfully connected to Chase.

    Hi Toni,

You should see an 'Edit' link in the header of your posts. (see screenshot)

Take your time when going through the Set Up Online Banking routine. It is imperative that the routine is completed accurately.

Ok. I followed your instructions and all my accounts are now downloaded. But the balances are still incorrect.

When I set up the accounts in MD I entered as the starting balance the amount that was showing on the Chase website.

    Hi Toni,

I'm glad to hear that you've made some progress.

Setting the Initial Balance may be a little touch and go at first - until all of your transactions clear through Chase.

If you click on the 'Balance' in the lower right-hand corner of the register in Moneydance, several different balances will appear. The 'Ledger Balance' is your current balance reported by Chase.

The 'Cleared Balance' should equal the 'Ledger Balance'. Make sure that the appropriate transactions are marked as 'Cleared' then, if necessary, try editing the 'Initial Balance' so that the 'Cleared Balance' equals the 'Ledger Balance'.
