Transaction Filter report

The subtotal by day option on the transaction filter report does not work correctly.
It seems to sub total by the first date correctly but then all subsequent records have the previous date + 1, so for example if I have transactions date 01/04/19, 04/04/19, 04/04/19 and 07/04/19 (UK date format DD/MM/YY), then the report sub totals as follows:
01/04/19 xxxxxxxxxxx
               sub total for 01/04/19
04/04/19 xxxxxxxxxxxx
               sub total for 02/04/19
04/04/19 xxxxxxxxxxxx
               sub total for 03/04/19
07/04/19 xxxxxxxxxxxx
               sub total for 04/04/19

The transaction report works correctly.

This issue has not been resolved, so why has it been closed by the system???

The forum software automatically closes threads if nothing has been posted to it for around 3 months. There is no way of overriding this.

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your query.

Unfortunately this is a known bug in Moneydance. There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system regarding this issue, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!

I should also add that it is not just when grouping by day – just tried by week and that is also wrong.

    Hi Sean

Further details. When I group by month it is also breaking the dates for a single month, so here we have transactions for September 2020 and it has sub totalled at the 5th then at the 12th and then to the last transaction in September which was the 15th:
