E-mail Notification Problems on iOS 6

Since upgrading to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 when I have Moneydance open and am entering a new check I often get an incoming e-mail notification. When I dismiss the notification I am thrown out of Mondeydance, loosing all the entry data and must re-enter the password and start all over. This behavior was not present in iOS 5. In iOS 5 I could dismiss the e-mail notification and return to exactly where I was in Mondydance and finish my check entry. Amazingly this happens to me about 75% of the time I am entering a check and it is absolutely infuriating. Is this an iOS 6 problem, or a Moneydance problem and how can I get the corrected?

   Interesting, I'm running iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Could you please let me know what kind of notification you're using for email- Banners, Alerts, etc ? This may help us to diagnose the issue. It would also be helpful to know what version of the Moneydance app you're running, as well as the sync method you're using- I'm not sure any of that makes a difference but it will make it easier for me to try to reproduce the issue.

   Angie,

   Have upgraded to iPhone 5 but my settings should be the same. For Mail notifications they are "Badges, Alerts". Using Moneydance App 1.7 on the phone.

   I havent used the iPhone 5 enough yet to determine if the behavior is there on it or not.
