View -> Show Side Bar issue

When I first start up MD2010 v728 (latest beta) it shows 'Show Side Bar' under the view menu. When I click it and go back to the View menu, it now shows 'hide_source_list' instead of (what I'm assuming it should be) 'Hide Side Bar'. When I click 'hide_source_list', the side bar will be hidden, and when I then go to the View menu it now says 'show_source_list' instead of 'Show Side Bar'.

So it appears that 'Show Side Bar' is only there when you first start Moneydance.

Thanks,

I'm running MD2010 v728 also, and it works fine for me. Show Side Bar, Hide Side Bar, etc. And it remembers the state across restarts. (Linux, Java v6 bld 16).

Perhaps post your system info and anything else that might help them figure this out.

That's weird. My system is Linux (Debian), Java v1.5.0-17.0.1 (5.0).

    Thanks,

    Hi Jason

I am running ubuntu 9.10 with java 1.6.0_15 and I am not able to reproduce the problem you are seeing. Please try updating your java version to java 6 (I find the sun jre is the best) and see if that resolves the issue.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer
