I just balanced my checking account successfully. The closing balance on the reconciliation window is 160.78, which matches the bank. However when I return to the Moneydance register, it shows I have 1143.07. How can I solve this?

Moneydance keeps several balances. If you just balanced from a paper bank statement, the register balance you are seeing is the current balance, which reflects any deposits and checks since the date of the paper statement.

If you are using MD2010 their is a balance button at the bottom right of the register. Pressing that will show you all the balances MD has. The cleared balance should agree with your bank statement.

Yes, I just found some uncleared items that made the difference. I'm sorry to have bothered you with this.

    Hello,

I can even find where to recocile an account. There is no item in the menus anywhere.
Am I going crazy, and have missed it?
