Syncing with iPhone
First, thank you for a great program.
I have just installed MoneyDance on my iPhone and followed the instructions you provide in your knowledge base to sync my desktop Moneydance with the iPhone version. I am unable to sync. I have followed your directions to the letter, but continually get the following message on my iPhone:
"No Moneydance data files were found that have been configured to sync using this Dropbox account. Please make sure you have installed the Network Synchronizer extension and configured it to sync using Dropbox."
I would appreciate any help you can give.
Regards,
Darryl

Hi Darryl,
Here are some common problems that you can check beyond what is described in the initial setup:
Make sure that Dropbox is open and running on your desktop system.
Make sure that both devices are connected to the internet.
The location of your Dropbox folder on your desktop must be in the default location, which on most systems is /users/[your username]/Dropbox
Let me know if none of those address this issue,

Hi Ethan,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Dropbox is running on my desktop
computer. Both the desktop and the iPhone are connected to the internet via
my AirPort. The Dropbox folder is in the default location. I've tried
several times since emailing you all with the same result, that is, the
same message as before: no Moneydance file.
Cheers,
Darryl

Hi Darryl,
What version of Moneydance and Java are you using? These can be found by going to Help -> Console window.

Hi Scott,
I checked the Console window, and it seemed to have a lot of what looked
like useful information, so I copied what I thought might be helpful and
pasted it below.

Darryl,
That did help, and I see a possible culprit- when using Moneydance 2012 you don't need the Network Synchronizer extension as syncing is built into the full program. Can you please try uninstalling that extension and setting up syncing using these instructions? If that doesn't help let me know and we'll keep working on it.

Hi Angie,
I uninstalled the network synchronizer extension, and everything works
perfectly now! Thank you very much!!
