"Error saving preferences"
Hi,
Every time I try to change my preferences and save them, I get the same message: "Error saving preferences" (see attached file).
How can this be fixed? I'm using Moneydance 2011r2 (803), in Windows 7 64-bit, with Java 1.6.0_21.
Thanks,
-

Hi marciombfaustino,
As you may have guessed, config.dict is your Preferences file.
Something easy that you could try is to navigate to the config.dict file and rename it.
Rename it config.dict.old. Make sure that Moneydance closed when you do this.
Open Moneydance. Doing so should cause Moneydance to recreate the config.dict file.
Try this and see if it resolves the issue.
You will need to re-set your Preferences and you may need to re-enter your License Key, so write it down first.
If this resolves the error, you can then delete config.dict.old if you wish
