What browser do you use in the banking program
My bank advises your browser is not compatible with them and to use, chrome, firefox or safari. What browser are you using and/or can it be updated to use one of those choices. I have Win10 and mostly use firefox.

I am not support staff, just a user.
When 2019 was in the beta stage back in December 2018 Sean the Moneydance developer stated “embedded browser (based on webkit)” ould be includer.
My understanding is webkit can be written into java on which Moneydance is based.
You can Google webkit and Wikipedia will give you more info.
As an aside if instead of clicking DOWNLOAD in a bank type register you click Ctrl – DOWNLOAD your default browser will open instead of the embedded browser at your bank log in page.
Hopefully SUPPORT will add to this thread.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. Problem still is being able to get the the bank web page to sign in to get the data. I am not that advanced to rewrite an interface.

I'm a fellow user.
The built in browser in Moneydance 2019 is still very much in development, I would call it an Alpha feature as I do not considered that it has yet reached the refinement level to be called a Beta feature, for many of us it does not work or only works partially.
At this stage I would use your regular system browser to download data to a file then import it.

Hi Mark
You state “Problem still is being able to get the bank web page to sign in to get the data”.
Not exactly sure what you are saying.
If its how do I use connect to my on line account, log in page then try this.
Start your default web browser and go to your on line account log in page.
Copy the web address.
Open Moneydance and highlight your bank in the side bar, list on left. Click ACCOUNT – EDIT ACCOUNT.
Click in the Website: box, swipe over https:// to highlight it and do a Ctrl V to paste the in the bank address. Your bank web address should always start with a single htts:// click OK.
Now press Ctrl key and at the same time mouse click on DOWNLOAD in the account register. This should open your bank log in page on your default browser.
You can now log in in the normal way, find transaction file download (preferably OFX or QFX), download it and import it into Moneydance in the normal way, drag and drop into the side bar.
Hope this helps.
