Hi Phil,
I'm not a Mac user but what may be going on here is that the print driver dialogue window is rendering off-screen.
The print dialogue window takes focus when it's invoked and requires user interaction in order to return focus back to the main Moneydance window. Without the ability to return focus back to the main Moneydance window, Moneydance will appear to have frozen.
Again, I'm not a Mac user but try this...
Open Moneydance and try to print something. (Moneydance will appear to have frozen)
At this point use key-combo ALT-SPACEBAR (a small context menu may or may not appear at the edge of your monitor)
Tap the letter 'M' on your keyboard to invoke the 'Move' command.
By holding down one of the ARROW keys on your keyboard (likely the LEFT ARROW key) try to move the orphaned window back on-screen.
This phenomenon is usually caused by connecting a second monitor to your machine and subsequently removing it.

Hi Kevin,
Have tried that but nothing seems to happen. I’m using the Option key as none of mine have Alt on them. This is the third button on the bottom left of the keyboard between the control and command buttons.
Is this what you wanted me to try ?
I do like the product apart from this annoying issue
Thanks for your help
Phil

Hi Phil,
I looked at the 'Window Management' section of the following webpage to see if there is a Mac equivalent to Windows' ALT-SPACEBAR but it doesn't provide one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_keyboard_shortcuts
I will yield to Moneydance Support or another user who is experienced in the Mac OS to help you further. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help.
If it is a report that you are looking to print, a workaround that you could try is, rather than Print, try using Save. Save the report as an HTML file. (be sure to retain the .html file extension when naming the report) You can then open the HTML report file in a spreadsheet, word processor or browser and print it from within one of those environments.

I'm a fellow user.
From posts about Mac usage I have captured the following, perhaps it may help:
For the Mac OS, if a window is off screen the "show all application windows" should work.
This is normally bound to the control-down arrow key but could be remapped in the System Preferences->Keyboard (Short cuts tab, and look at the "Mission Control" application).
You can also try clicking and hold on the MD icon in you task bar, a menu should pop up with the "Show All Windows". This may show the hidden window which could be on another Desktop (or Space as they are called).

And also if you are using Mac OS X Sierra 10.12 printing is very very slow around 45 minutes (shorter for some updates to MD). The only solution the developer could find was to update to at least Mac OS X High Sierra.
