Save and Save As were removed in later versions of Moneydance 2012.

The program automatically saves data now, something like 20 seconds is the timeout, to force a Save the keyboard short cut CTRL S will do the job.

Save As would be a bit more involved to do with later versions as Moneydance data is no longer held in one file but in a folder structure. Attachments are held in a separate folder and the transactions are in various files, so not only does it involving saving what is currently open but also copying various other files. As well, if you are performing syncing you need to be concerned about disabling this in the copy that such a command would create. The complexities are such that if you really need to create a copy like Save As creates you need to follow a process that can create such a copy properly.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480474632020-01-30T03:38:50Z2020-01-30T03:38:50Zhow to save to computer?

Instead of "Save As" use File->Export Backup. This does effectively the same thing.

You are using the automatic backup to save the last N copies to a folder? You can open that folder (or use Help->Show Backup Folder) and copy one of those dated backups from there. If you restore from a backup remember to change the name of the restored file to one without the date so you don't get multiple different dates in the file name.

sth
