I have downloaded and installed the exchange rates downloader extension from Yahoo. I restarted MD. How do I activate it? Clicking on exchange rates on the Home page apparentlyy isn't the answer.
I am using Mac version of MD with OS10.6.

    Hi Brian

When you installed the extension a new menu item called "Exchange rate downloader" will have appeared on the extensions menu. If you click on this menu item you will activate the extension and download the latest exchange rates. Additionally you can install an extension called "Stock/FOREX quote auto synchronizer" this will also and a new menu item to the extensions menu. This other extension can be configured to automatically activate the "Exchange rate downloader" at progrm start up or at regular intervals.

    Merry Christmas

    Thanks for the info, Ben.
I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow (or Monday?) to try it out. I imagine that US financial institutions will be closed.
