saving newly transferred Quicken file.
There seems to be no problem moving the file from Quick which is
on another computer to Moneydance on my MacBook running Lion.
Each time I try to save the transfer or when I quit Moneydance, I
have to Start all over and transfer from Quicken again. I keep
getting this message. Jav.lang.NullPointerException Can you help
solve my problem?
Thanks11

Hi Ellie,
Would you mind telling me what version of Moneydance you are running (Look under Moneydance -> About Moneydance or Help -> About Moneydance) and what version of your operating system you have?
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

Hi Ellie,
I must apologize but I lost track of your email for a bit and therefore am just now getting back to you. Sorry to be so untimely.
This is a known bug causing this and we are currently beta-testing and getting very near to release of the next version of Moneydance that will fix this bug. We will post here when it is out.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

Thsnks for the info. I took the bull by the horns and manually transferred
some of my files so that I could use the program. Will try again when the
new version comes out.
appreciate your help
