<p>Your problem sounds very much like a problem that has been seen when using Direct Connect with some banks - Web Connect uses the same data format hence the same approach may work.</p>
<p>The problem is that some institutions seem to have re-interpeted the OFX specification which results in data being interpreted incorrectly and thus stored incorrectly.</p>
<p>There is an option in Moneydance 2019 to change the way Moneydance is processing this data It can be found in the menu path File → Preferences → Network and it is the option to Ignore Transaction Types in Favor of Amount Sign.</p>
<p>What I do not know is if this option works with data that is manually imported, as far as I can recall it has only been seen with automatically downloaded data, you may have a first there.</p></div>dwg
