I'm a fellow user.
You need to provide more information around what you are doing.
- Is this occurring during you initial setup and migration of data from another software program?
- Is this occurring when using Direct Connect to download transactions?
- Is this occurring when downloading and manually importing Transactions? If so what file format are you using and what file formats does your bank provide?
- It is occurring other some other circumstances? If so you need to elaborate exactly on what you are doing.

jtietze1,
Along with considering the questions posed by forum member dwg; the general rule with regards to duplicate transactions is to delete the existing transaction(s) and commit the downloaded one(s) to the register. Otherwise, the transaction(s) are likely to just re-download as Moneydance 'sees' them again as available for download from the server.
